Make Awaken Home

Our goal at Awaken isn't just to grow a church; it's to grow a family in Christ. Discipleship & spiritual formation are building blocks in everything we do here at Awaken. We genuinely want people to awaken to the truth of Christ Jesus and live the life He has planned for them.

We do not have a traditional membership; instead, we have three simple steps for

those who feel God is calling them to make Awaken home.

ATTEND

To be a family growing in Christ, we must make it a priority to be together. We live in a culture that places God low on its priority list; we choose to be different at Awaken. Attending Sunday services, Awaken events, and Awaken gatherings (men's, women's, & youth) help us grow in Christ and as a family! We see a close Christian community in scripture, and Christ pointed out that those that believe are His family. We need to do life together, we need family!

What to Expect

As a family, we serve together. Serving is not just volunteering but a part of our discipleship. We do not want to be a church of consumers. We want Awaken to be filled with people excited to get involved and help move the mission forward. This means serving on Sundays, serving in Awaken ministries and outreaches. Our goal is to have at least 80% of our church serving while the other 20% are seeing if this is where God is calling them to get rooted & engaged.

Give

Giving does mean seeking God and bringing in a committed & consistent offering. Cheerfully offering is part of being a family in Christ. But giving at Awaken is more than just money. Giving also includes your talents, skills, gifts, and ideas. We give our time and do so joyfully, reflecting on all God has freely given us. Everyone that calls Awaken home should be giving a monetary offering monthly but also so much more as we work towards multiplying God's Kingdom!
